DE POSITIE

Als QHSE Marine Officer maak je deel uit van een toegewijd team van zes professionals en werk je samen of zelfstandig aan diverse QHSE-gerelateerde zaken. Je hebt een adviserende rol richting onze schepen en werkt nauw samen met de afdeling Ship Management. Je fungeert als kennispartner en helpt bij het implementeren van wet- en regelgeving en bedrijfsbeleid. Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor de auditplanning, het uitvoeren van de interne audits en het coördineren van externe audits.

Hoewel je vanuit ons kantoor in Rotterdam werkt, zal je ook van tijd tot tijd reizen naar; schepen, havens, projecten, in Nederland & wereldwijd.

JOUW IMPACT
  • Fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor nautische en scheepsgerelateerde HSE-kwesties
  • Risicobeoordelingen faciliteren en veiligheidsrisico's identificeren
  • Uitvoeren van maritieme veiligheidsbeoordelingen; analyseren en adviseren
  • Adviseren van schepen en de ship management afdeling over QHSE-gerelateerde kwesties
  • Assisteren van de vloot bij naleving van wet- en regelgeving en bedrijfsbeleid
  • Plannen en uitvoeren van interne audits op de vloot
  • Begeleiden en ondersteunen van externe audits en inspecties (OVID, CMID, Suitability Surveys) aan boord van onze schepen
  • Identificeren van gebieden die voor verbetering vatbaar zijn en oplossingen voorstellen om de QHSE-prestaties te optimaliseren
  • Assisteren bij het onderzoeken van incidenten, op basis van documenten of deelnemen aan onderzoeken op locatie
  • Bijdragen aan de voortdurende verbetering van veiligheids- en milieuprocedures binnen de organisatie

Als QHSE Marine Officer maak je deel uit van de afdeling QHSE, gevestigd in Rotterdam. Op een normale werkdag begin je je dag op kantoor, werk je zelfstandig aan je eigen portfolio of je werkt aan een gezamenlijke opdracht samen met andere teamleden. Boven je staat een team lead die je begeleidt in je dagelijkse werkzaamheden. Het QHSE Marine team rapporteert aan de DPA/ CSO.

OVER JOU

In de rol van QHSE Marine Officer sta je ervoor open om te reizen voor werk. Verder beschik je over:

  • Een relevante opleiding (bijvoorbeeld Maritieme Techniek, Veiligheidstechniek, of een vergelijkbare studie)
  • Minimaal enkele jaren werkervaring als zeevarende of een QHSE rol binnen de maritieme of offshore sector
  • Kennis van maritieme wet- en regelgeving en ervaring met audits is een pre
  • Een proactieve en onafhankelijke werkhouding, gecombineerd met sterke analytische vaardigheden
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om op verschillende niveaus te communiceren
  • Beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal
  • In het bezit van een eigen auto is een pré
