Job Overview:We are hiring a Compliance & Quality Control Administrator to oversee regulatory compliance, quality control, documentation, and administrative processes in our European division. This role ensures that all products meet European and international food safety standards while supporting key import/export operations . The position will start remotely and transition to an office/warehouse setting as we expand.
Key Responsibilities: Compliance & Quality Control:- Ensure all products comply with EU and international food safety regulations .
- Maintain and update compliance documentation, certifications, and audits .
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers in the bulk food ingredient industry to maintain quality standards.
- Oversee product testing, traceability, and recall procedures .
- Assist with regulatory approvals and industry certifications such as HACCP, BRC, ISO, Global GAP, Organic, IFS, SMETA, FSMA, etc.
- Manage all import/export documentation related to fresh produce, vegetable, juice, puree, and powder shipments .
- Ensure compliance with EU customs regulations, phytosanitary requirements, and trade agreements .
- Handle product certifications and regulatory documentation required for bulk food ingredient shipping .
- Stay updated on industry regulations and trade requirements impacting food ingredient imports/exports.
- Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure smooth and compliant product movement.
- Maintain internal databases for product specifications, quality reports, and certifications .
- Assist in implementing warehouse and inventory control procedures as operations grow.
- Support customer and supplier inquiries related to **quality, compliance,
- Must have real industry experience in bulk fresh produce, juices, purees, or powders—NOT retail grocery or medical store experience.
- Experience working with food and beverage bulk manufacturing and ingredient supply chains .
- Strong understanding of certifications, quality control, and compliance specific to bulk food ingredients .
- Knowledge of import/export processes for bulk food ingredients in Europe and globally .
