About the role:

As an Accounts Payable Accountant , you will ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers. You'll play a key role in resolving discrepancies, optimizing financial workflows, and contributing to process improvements. Address: The job is based in our Dutch Headquarters: Erik de Rodeweg 11-13, 5975 WD Sevenum, near Venlo.

Hybrid work model: we practice a model of 60% of work onsite, in the office and 40% of working time being flexible for you to chose if you wish to work from home office or prefer to come onsite.

About your tasks:

• Process invoices efficiently – Review, verify, and process incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve discrepancies – Work with Procurement and Warehouse teams to investigate and resolve invoice mismatches.
• Manage supplier communication – Serve as the first point of contact for payment inquiries and clarifications.
• Maintain accurate records – Update supplier accounts, including bank details and ledger accuracy.
• Ensure timely payments – Monitor due dates, prepare payment proposals, and support cash flow management.
• Drive process improvements – Identify and implement enhancements to optimize Accounts Payable workflows.

About you:

• You enjoy working with numbers and are meticulous, punctual and precise. In other words, accurate and attentive do detail.
• You bring relevant experience from a similar accounting/finance role.
• You have a financial education or several years of experience in a financial department.
• You are fluent in English, knowledge of German is highly desirable.
