Information Technology System Administrator

IT System Administration

Location: North Holland (Hybrid)

Duration: Minimum 1 year (with possible extensions)

Hours: 36-40 per week

During onboarding: For around 1 month you will need to work on-site 3-4 days a week. On other days, remote work is possible.

After onboarding, less days of onsite work are required.

On-call duty: Once every 5-6 weeks (18:00 – 07:00), requiring availability to resolve issues remotely or travel to the nearest client site within 1 hour.

Responsibilities:

As a primary administrator, you will focus on maintaining the data center infrastructure, particularly the Active Directory environment. Additionally, improving and simplifying management tasks is a strong secondary focus—after all, a good administrator is an efficient administrator.

  • You will be responsible for managing and resolving incidents.
  • You will contribute as an IT professional to the maintenance and further development of the IT environment and ensure that all necessary conditions are met.
  • You will carry out installation tasks (lifecycles).
  • You will assist users by providing instructions on the delivered IT resources and solutions.
  • You will document agreements made with users for clarity.
  • You will write and update management documentation.
  • If you notice that something is not going well, you will take corrective and/or preventive actions.

Skills:

  • At least 5 years of deep knowledge and experience with MS Server in a large environment (minimum 5000 users across multiple locations).
  • Strong expertise in MS Active Directory .
  • Basic knowledge of federated connections (deep expertise is not required).
