As Controller, you will take ownership of the financial control environment, ensuring accurate reporting, strong compliance, and scalable processes that support the next stage of VectorY's growth. You will lead the accounting and reporting cycle, drive process optimisation initiatives, and provide financial insights that help the business make better decisions. This role is for someone who enjoys creating structure, improving ways of working, and taking ownership in a dynamic environment where your impact will be visible from day one. /p h3What you'll do /h3 ul liOwn the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting /li liPrepare management reports, analyses and insights that support business decision-making /li liEnsure the integrity of the general ledger /li liCoordinate the annual audit process and act as a key contact for external auditors /li liStrengthen and maintain internal controls, accounting policies and financial governance /li liDrive process improvements across accounting, reporting and finance operations /li liLead finance systems optimisation initiatives /li liSupport budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management activities /li liPartner with stakeholders across the organisation /li /ul h3What you bring /h3 ul li7+ years of experience in accounting, financial control, audit or a comparable finance role /li liStrong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles and internal controls /li liA track record of improving processes, systems and ways of working /li liStrong analytical and stakeholder management skills /li liExperience in an international and fast-growing biotech environment is a strong plus /li /ul h3Who you are /h3 pYou are someone who takes ownership and enjoys building things that last.
