As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for:
~ Managing relationships with existing suppliers to ensure consistent quality and supply
~ Overseeing the key distributor account, ensuring all needs and requirements are met
~ Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best outcomes for the company
~ Collaborating with the sales and logistics teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency
~ Monitoring market trends to anticipate changes and adjust procurement strategies accordingly
~ Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the procurement process
~ Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to support the account's growth and success
~ The Senior Buyer will also provide guidance and support to junior and mid-level buyers on-site. Proven experience as a senior buyer or in a similar procurement role within the food industry
~ Ability to manage complex supplier relationships and key accounts
~ Proficiency in market analysis and procurement strategies
~ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
