The Opportunity
Our client, a leading advisory firm, is seeking a high-calibre Director or Senior Director to join their Transactions Advisory Services team within Corporate Finance & Restructuring. This role will lead mid-sized complex Financial Due Diligence (FDD) projects and contribute to the continued growth of the firm's M&A advisory offering across buy-side, sell-side, refinancing, restructuring, and capital raising mandates.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of mid-size complex transactions, working closely with Partners and managing key FDD workstreams on larger deals.
- Lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence assignments, including financial analysis, reporting, and project management.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor junior consultants, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development.
- Drive business development activities, including client catch-ups, market mapping, and identifying new commercial opportunities.
- Develop a strong understanding of clients' businesses, their financials, and strategic drivers to offer actionable insights.
- Engage with clients at senior levels and foster long-term trusted advisory relationships.
- Support the Senior Managing Director in delivering large-scale mandates and managing client expectations.
- Contribute to the internal growth of the Transactions Advisory Services practice through collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
About You
- 8–10 years' relevant experience, including at least 4 years in Transactions / Deal Advisory within a top-tier accountancy firm, boutique advisory, or consulting firm.
- Big 4 experience is highly regarded.
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Commercial mindset and ability to build client relationships with credibility and impact.
