Whom are we looking for?
As our Technical Support Engineer, you'll share the responsibility to further develop the support team and processes, currently consisting of 1 engineer. Together, you will support our customers and our field engineers working at customer sites, troubleshoot and coordinate among our software and engineering teams. The goal is to optimize the performance of the systems and provide a good customer experience. With your technical expertise, customer-oriented attitude and prioritization skills, you will bring a tremendous impact in scaling our (global) software operations.
To be successful in this role, you are expected to:
- Be proficient in both Dutch and English;
- Support a monitoring system to test, troubleshoot and analyse the Ampowr systems in the field;
- Collaborate with the EMS team to understand support needs and integrate a ticketing system seamlessly into existing workflows;
- Troubleshoot software and hardware problems, escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary;
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Software departments to ensure a unified and consistent approach to issue resolution;
- Contribute to the creation of a knowledge base to empower users with self-help resources.
Requirements:
- Study background in a relevant field (Software Engineering, Information Technology Science);
- 1-3 years experience with ticketing system (Jira or similar), alerting and monitoring systems (Grafana or similar) and customer support
- Proven experience with Linux and Networking;
- Proficient knowledge of English and Dutch language;
- Affinity with Energy Monitoring System (EMS) is a plus;
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills;
- Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
