About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HSE Lead to join a high-profile data centre project in Groningen, Netherlands . You will play a pivotal role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are met and maintained throughout the construction and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in line with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams, ensuring a strong safety culture on-site.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses , implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Liaise with local authorities, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure all HSE requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate HSE documentation and report to senior management on safety performance.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HSE Lead or similar role within large-scale construction or data centre projects.
  • Relevant HSE qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, MVK, or HVK preferred) .
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive a safety-first culture.
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Right to work in the Netherlands EU PASSPORT is essential.
