For our production team in Rotterdam, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Maintenance Engineer. In addition to specifying maintenance instructions, spare parts, and technical documentation, you consider inspections essential for determining maintenance priorities. Your drive to optimize the technical availability of our installations is certainly appreciated. You will be responsible for: Ensuring proper maintenance and optimal operation of equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance. Analyzing and resolving malfunctions and performing repairs on mechanical and electrical systems. Developing and implementing maintenance plans to improve the reliability and uptime of equipment. Collaborating with maintenance technicians, production staff, and the Reliability Specialist to efficiently solve operational issues and develop long-term maintenance strategies. Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and integrating it into existing systems. Drafting, managing, and optimizing maintenance instructions, technical documentation, and spare parts management. Performing and coordinating inspections and analyses to determine maintenance priorities. Working with digital maintenance programs and RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance). Initiating and implementing improvement projects in the areas of maintenance and reliability. About you: Education and Work Experience: A completed higher professional (HBO) or university degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, AOT, or a similar field). A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a production environment. Knowledge and Skills: Strong analytical, cognitive, and problem-solving abilities. Technical creativity and a transparent, structured way of working. Experience with digital maintenance programs and RCM. Enthusiasm, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
