With a commitment to operational excellence and supply chain optimization, the company is seeking a highly experienced Global Procurement Head to drive strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost efficiency on a global scale.

Role Overview:

The Global Procurement Head will be responsible for developing and executing the global procurement strategy , ensuring cost-effectiveness, supplier performance, and supply chain resilience. This role involves close collaboration with regional procurement teams, key stakeholders, and the executive leadership , reporting directly to the COO .

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global procurement strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and risk mitigation to enhance value creation.
• Optimize global sourcing , identifying opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and sustainability.
• Oversee procurement operations across multiple regions , ensuring standardization and best practices.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance.
• Drive digital transformation in procurement through data analytics, automation, and technology adoption.
• Ensure compliance with international procurement regulations, industry standards, and corporate policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders , including R&D, production, logistics, and finance, to align procurement with business needs.
• Lead and develop a high-performing global procurement team , fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing , preferably in the chemical or manufacturing industry .
• Proven leadership experience in a global procurement function with a track record of cost optimization and strategic supplier management.
• Strong understanding of raw material sourcing, supplier markets, and global supply chain dynamics .
• Experience in contract negotiation, risk management, and procurement governance .
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to drive sustainability and ESG initiatives within procurement operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing cross-functional and international teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field .
• Fluency in English ; additional European languages are a plus.
