Ocean Import Forwarder
- Rozenburg (Schiphol-Rijk) As an Ocean Import Forwarder, you are responsible for managing incoming ocean freight shipments from start to finish. You start your workday by reviewing active shipments and coordinating arrangements with shipping lines, transport providers, and overseas agents. Throughout the day, you negotiate freight rates, prepare all necessary transport documentation, and process shipping data accurately into the system. For this Recruitment & Selection role, you will be contracted directly by our client Negotiating freight and transport rates with suppliers and carriers Booking, planning, and accurately processing shipments into the system Making arrangements with subcontractors in line with customer agreements Resolving operational and transport-related issues Preparing and checking required transport documentation Handling invoicing and recording transport costs Proven work experience as an Ocean Import Forwarder or in a similar logistics role MBO or HBO level of working and thinking Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written Direct contract with the client

• Full-time position of 40 hours per week
• 25 holiday days based on a full-time contract
