The position

As a Senior Python Developer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking, Fintech, Telco, Retail, Sports, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle in a DevOps environment. You'll set industry standards, guide the team, and ensure that our solutions are scalable, efficient, and future-proof.

  • Lead & mentor the development team, ensuring the best coding practices
  • Collaborate with IT architects & project managers to align business and tech goals
  • Optimize Python frameworks for efficiency and performance

  • Contribute to system architecture and design decisions
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
  • Prevent technical debt and maintain high code quality

What you bring to the position

  • 5+ years of Python experience in a lead or senior role
  • Strong expertise in data processing technologies (Kafka, Hadoop, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Deep knowledge of Azure Data Stack
  • Experience in the electricity sector is a must
  • Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and mentoring
