Head of Digital Manufacturing

h3About this Position /h3 pThe Head of Digital Manufacturing leads the Henkel Adhesives Operations end to end digital transformation across manufacturing operations, aligning with Industry 4.0 principles. The scope includes 120+ manufacturing sites. This role drives the global digital strategy, manufacturing systems deployment and systems integration, digital use case definition and implementation for operational functions i.e., Production, SHE, Maintenance, Sustainability, data governance, analytics, OT security and digital innovation to enhance productivity, reliability, and operational excellence. This position operates at the intersection of IT, OT, data, and operations, ensuring digital systems create tangible business value. /p h3What you'll do /h3 pb1. Digital manufacturing strategy and roadmap /b /p ulliDefine and own the bdigital manufacturing vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap /b aligned with business and operational priorities /li liIdentify, prioritize, and sequence bhigh-value digital use cases /b across SHE, Sustainability, Production, Maintenance. /li liEnsure solutions are bscalable, fit for purpose standardized, and cyber-secure /b across sites and regions. /li liAct as the primary interface between local, regional and global boperations, IT/OT, and other Digital teams /b. /li liCreate buy-in and communicate the digital vision and roadmap to the various stakeholders /li /ul pb2. Manufacturing systems process modernization /b /p ulliLead the design and deployment of bcore digital manufacturing platforms /b, including: Sensors and IIoT infrastructure, MES systems, process historians, PLC / DCS integration /li liDefine reference architectures, standards, and governance for OT and digital manufacturing solutions /li liEnsure reliable data acquisition, connectivity, and system availability across plants. /li liIdentify and deploy new technologies to enhance reliability, throughput, and plant availability /li /ul pb3. Data Analytics Governance /b /p ulliDevelop and implement bdata governance and analytics strategies /b to support manufacturing optimization /li liIdentify and prioritize analytics use case definition for functions present on manufacturing plants e.g., bSHE /b: incident prevention, process safety monitoring, compliance reporting, bSustainability /b: energy efficiency, emissions monitoring, resource optimization, bProduction /b: OEE, yield, bMaintenance /b: condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, spare parts optimization /li liEnsure data integrity, cybersecurity, and consistency of KPIs across the organization. /li /ul pb4. OT Security Cyber Resilience /b /p ulliDefine and enforce bOT security strategy and standards /b for digital manufacturing systems in alignment with enterprise cybersecurity policies. /li liEnsure secure design and operation of bPLC, DCS, MES, historians, sensors, and IIoT platforms /b across all manufacturing sites. /li liPartner with IT Security, OT Engineering, and plant teams to implement bdefense-in-depth architectures /b, network segmentation, and secure remote access. /li liEnsure compliance with relevant bindustrial cybersecurity standards and regulations /b (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST, local regulatory requirements). /li liOversee OT security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and remediation plans for manufacturing systems. /li /ul pb5. Cross-Functional Collaboration /b /p ulliServe as the primary bridge between bOperations, IT, Engineering, Safety, Quality and Supply Chain /b teams. /li liWork closely with plant leadership and corporate functions to ensure technology alignment with business priorities. /li /ul pb6. Leadership Change Management /b /p ulliLead and grow a bmulti-disciplinary digital manufacturing team /b of data domain experts, data scientist, OT security experts /li liDrive organizational bchange management /b for digital adoption across global/ regional sites /li liDrive digital bupskilling /b across the global, regional organization and across local sites /li /ul h3What makes you a good fit /h3 ulli10-15+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations.
