Hence, we are looking for an experienced and driven Operations Manager to join our Management Team and lead the Air Forwarding Product Development and Operations in The Netherlands. You will be based in our Amsterdam station and will lead a team of professionals to continuously improve our air import and export operations across our multiple hubs in The Netherlands.
The successful candidate has demonstrated skills on the below crucial points for this important role in our management team.
- You use your strong operational knowledge and leadership skills to embed a commercial mindset into our services to grow customer relationships to true partnerships. You work for this across departments and appreciate feedback from sales and customers to move our services to the next level.
- You are able implement and maintain effective processes maximizing operational efficiency and cost effectiveness in compliance with industry regulations. You continuously improve service quality in line with our ISO 9001 standard and minimize our environmental footprint in line with our ISO14001 standard. You and lead the customer service and operational teams to embrace and drive these improvements.
- You lead by example and foster a professional, collaborative, and positive work environment to drive the team's success. You develop talent and correct underperforming staff when needed.
- You maintain strong relationships with airlines, warehouse partners, and truckers and work on regular vendor assessments and QBR's to ensure that vendors are delivering services according to our expectations.
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit to identify areas of opportunity and drive growth and profitability. You think in solutions instead of problems.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is a must. Additional language skills as Mandarin are also welcome.
