Als Agile Tester werk je bij hun klanten aan de meest uiteenlopende, uitdagende en complexe systemen. Je werkt in een Scrum team, waarin jij het eerste aanspreekpunt bent voor alles wat met testen te maken heeft. Als geen ander voel je je verantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteit. Je adviseert over de testaanpak en neemt het team mee om de kwaliteit naar een hoger niveau te brengen. Zo lever je goed werkende software op. Mét het team, iedere sprint weer.
Uiteraard test je zelf ook. Je helpt met het opstellen van acceptatiecriteria, het maken van testgevallen en het testen van backlog items. Hierbij haal je plezier uit het steeds beter leren kennen van het systeem en de onderliggende stack. Met deze kennis kun je het systeem nóg beter testen. Door jouw kennis en ervaring met testtools kun je testen ook automatiseren en uitvoeren. Hierbij help je als Agile Tester het team bij het maken van de juiste keuzes, want de do’s en don'ts van testautomatisering zijn voor jou geen geheim. Je omgeving vertrouwt op jouw kennis, kunde en ervaring.
