The Global IT Team (GIT) is responsible for all of Brunel's business-critical applications worldwide. This team consists of agile teams that - based on DevOps - design and develop the right functionality and applications for our international regions and manage them together with our partners. Within these teams we work together with modern technology and IT partners, and we continue to innovate to provide our business with the best IT systems.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The PMO team within the Global IT team is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Senior IT Project Manager. This role is pivotal in leading complex international projects, integrating advanced technologies, and driving digital transformation within our organisation. As a key liaison between external consultants, internal business analysts, and our DevOps team, you will ensure seamless project execution and successful implementation of strategic IT solutions. Operating in an international environment, this position demands adaptability, strong communication skills, and a solution-oriented mindset. The role will report to Berny Custers and will sit alongside three other immediate colleagues as well as will partner with a wider set of colleagues and stakeholders.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and oversee multiple high-impact international IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets while proactively managing risks and dependencies.
- Engage with global teams across various regions to ensure smooth transitions and effective stakeholder management.
- Foster a proactive and collaborative project environment, encouraging open-minded problem-solving and innovation.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables by implementing best practices in project governance and quality assurance.
- Provide clear and consistent communication to stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and successes.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in an international setting.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing software solutions in complex environments.
- Project Management certification such as IPMA or Prince2 is expected.
- Strong stakeholder management experience within fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated ability to stay ahead of technological advancements, with expertise in areas such as AI-driven tools, RPA, ERP process automation or Microsoft Power Platform.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
- Experience in the staffing/recruitment industry is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
