We're looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join a major data centre build in The Netherlands, supporting the design, implementation, and commissioning of automation, controls, and BMS systems within a mission-critical environment.Lees de volgende functieomschrijving zorgvuldig door om er zeker van te zijn dat u de geschikte kandidaat bent voor deze rol voordat u solliciteert. You'll work closely with electrical, mechanical, and commissioning teams to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of intelligent building systems across this high-tech facility. Key Responsibilities Deliver and support automation, SCADA, and BMS systems across all project stages Configure, test, and validate control systems (e.g. PLCs, DDC, Modbus, BACnet) Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and commissioning teams to ensure system performance Review automation and control drawings, I/O schedules, and sequence of operations Conduct FATs/SATs and handover documentation Troubleshoot and resolve integration and network issues Support client during handover and initial operations Candidate Profile 5+ years of experience in automation or controls engineering Strong knowledge of BMS, PLCs, SCADA, or DDC systems (e.g. Siemens, Honeywell, Trend, Schneider) Experience in data centres, xfgnyzt pharma, industrial, or building automation projects Familiar with networking, I/O wiring, protocols (Modbus, BACnet, TCP/IP) Able to read technical drawings, control panel schematics, and wiring diagrams Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus) Valid EU work permit or right to work in The Netherlands If you feel you have the right experience, please feel free to apply
