The Quality Engineer position will lead the development and delivery of the quality program for site projects at our Rotterdam Refinery. It will include engagement with our key suppliers and their quality programs. The scope of the role will involve quality planning, QC/QA, investigation activity, continuous improvement, and driving an improved quality culture through all interactions and activities.
This will require close collaboration with the Rotterdam Site Projects organisation, our contractors, and the global quality team, which will help drive efficient and consistent working practices.
Lead development and delivery of quality program for site projects
Provide quality management and QA/QC support, including planning, contractor management, inspection & testing, completion, certification and lessons learned.
Support development and implementation of quality requirements of contracts and purchase orders
Drive implementation of the non-conformance management process associated system to drive effective root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions
Monitor and manage effective self-verification and oversight – for contractor and supplier quality
Support contractor and supplier performance management (quality oversights, audits, KPIs, etc.)
Provide quality management support to Operations, including aftermarket services, inspection and repair of existing assets.
Support procurement quality teams with supplier evaluations, nonconformance management, and performance management
Drive sharing of lessons learned while implementing quality programs in Projects, TARs and Operations across the global quality discipline and wider Client community.
Minimum 5 years of Quality Management experience is preferred but not essential
Quality management experience should include, but not be limited to, quality planning, quality oversight and verification activities, audit, definition and oversight of inspection activities, continuous improvement, working knowledge of international standards (e.g. Understanding and experience of quality and methodology, e.g., Fluent in Dutch and English Language
