**Your impact at MUFG**

Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst within the Regulatory Reporting and Data Management Office, you will support the bank by seeking effective business solutions for the delivery of data to enable quality management information as well as reporting to meet the bank's external regulatory disclosures. You will also play a key role in the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives of existing processes within the bank.

You will assist in the analysis of stakeholder objectives and the identification and resolution of underlying issues arising from those investigations. You will be able to translate business requirements into actionable solutions to enable IT colleagues deliver outcomes that meet the business stakeholder needs.

In addition, you will also proactively identify potential benefits and available options for consideration and work with business users in designing acceptance tests for new systems or changes to existing systems or business processes. You will also document and maintain the traceability of requirements through to deliverables on any project, with the aim of ensuring the final delivery meets the business' requirements.

**The role includes the following**:

- Analysing stakeholder requirements and working closely with IT colleagues to ensure those requirements are delivered.
- Playing a key role in the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assisting in the analysis of stakeholder objectives and the underlying issues arising from investigations, translating these into business requirements and solutions.
- Identifying potential benefits, and available options for consideration and working with users in defining acceptance tests for new systems or changes to existing systems or business processes.
- Working with colleagues and users to investigate and document business functions, processes, and information flows and data structures.
- Documenting and maintaining the traceability of requirements through to deliverables on projects / change or improvement initiatives.
- Facilitating user meetings and presenting issues and solutions both orally and in writing.
- Assisting users in producing clearly defined acceptance tests for automated systems.
- Assisting in defining and justifying (in business terms) initiatives to develop/implement automated and non-automated components of new or changed business processes.
- Conducting data analysis activities for projects and across multiple business functions.

**In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following **skills and experience**:

- Educated to degree level (Bachelor's or higher)
- Minimum 2 years' experience as Business Analyst in data focused projects
- Excellent communication skills through English, both oral and written
- Experience with preparing project artefacts inc
