Carbon Equity is looking for a sales manager for its professional solutions team. The role will be focused on raising capital for our funds from HNWIs, PE partners, (multi-) family offices, foundations, and financial advisors. We are looking for someone with strong commercial skills, affinity with VC/PE, and ideally some experience with the professional investor market, for example, relationship manager within wealth management/private banking or investor relations/fund placement within alternative assets. You will work in a highly energized, motivated, and experienced team that will be fun to be part of.
**The Role & Deliverables**
As a Professional Investor Sales Manager, you are directly responsible for growing the professional solutions business of Carbon Equity. You work closely with our senior team members and assist in i) finding new leads, ii) preparing meetings and materials, iii) converting leads into deals, and iv) gradually taking over relationships. Depending on your experience you will have a leading role in developing our account management and B2B approach.
- ** Co-development of the Carbon Equity account management approach**
- Together with the Head of Professional Solutions, you develop the account management and B2B approach
- ** Business development**
- You support senior professionals in lead generation and -conversion, and account management
- Where possible you generate high-quality leads amongst others by:
- Leveraging your network
- Generating leads through platforms such as LinkedIn, events, etc.
- You conduct calls and/or meetings with potential customers
- You prospect and build relationships with prospective third-party distribution partners (private banks, investment platforms)
- You actively use Hubspot CRM to log all customer interactions, manage tasks, and report on results
- ** Management**
- You manage one or multiple working students to support the execution
- You ensure Hubspot - our CRM - is consistently updated by you and your team and you set up and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor performance
- ** Coordination with other teams to deliver an end-to-end excellent customer journey**
- You work closely together with the private solutions team to leverage learnings and organize joint events where needed
- You work closely together with the marketing team to drive visibility among the relevant target group
- You work closely with the Investment team and regularly attend investment meetings so you are fully informed on the funds we have selected, our portfolio design strategy, and climate investment market dynamics
**Experience & Qualifications**
- You have at least five years of relevant **experience** with wealth management/private banking advisory or investor relations/fundraising in private equity or venture capital. Experience working with family offices / UHNWIs / foundations is desirable
- You are **proficient in the English language** and ideally also in German to have a more active role in our DACH reachouts
- You have **strong social skills** and **an entrepreneurial mindset set** and you are not afraid to approach prospective clients at events
- You seek to develop a deep **understanding of our product and industry **to have in-depth discussions with prospective clients. Please join our investment meetings to remain informed on our portfolio and market developments
