JOUW ROL- Als Assistant Warehouse Supervisor ben je verantwoordelijk voor het direct aansturen van het team, op onze Medical Device Campus in Heerlen. De focus van deze functie ligt op het behouden van overzicht, coaching, monitoring/signalering en het bijsturen van je team. Samen met de Warehouse Supervisor zorg je ervoor dat de medewerkers goed in hun vel zitten en dat ze aan de geplande KPI's kunnen voldoen. Daarnaast neem je deel aan projecten gericht op verbetering, waarbij je zelf ook verbetervoorstellen doet. De toepassing van de LEAN filosofie is belangrijk.Als Assistent Warehouse Supervisor werk je nauw samen met je team van Warehouse Operators om het gewenste resultaat te bereiken Je komt in contact met diverse ondersteunende afdelingen zoals klantenservice, planning en voorraadbeheer. Op onze locatie in Heerlen werken momenteel ongeveer 800 mensen.WAT GA JE DOEN?- Als Assistent Warehouse Supervisor ga je:
- Begeleiden/managen van uw medewerkers in hun dagelijkse werkzaamheden;
- Bewaken en bijsturen van operationele voortgang en dagelijkse capaciteitsbehoefte;
- Behaal KPI's en performance metrics;
- Toezicht houden op de naleving van regelgeving;
- Handen uit de mouwen voor uitdagingen die niet door uw medewerkers kunnen worden opgelost;
- Feedbackgesprekken voeren met uw medewerkers;
- Zijn/haar taken overnemen bij afwezigheid van de leidinggevende.

Je bent flexibel in werktijden.- Daarnaast breng je de volgende kennis en ervaring met je mee:
- Minimaal een MBO opleiding, bij voorkeur in de logistiek;
- Kennis van processen, (kwaliteits)procedures en systemen binnen een warehousing omgeving;
- Proactieve en positieve houding, wat resulteert in een goede werkethiek;
- Een goede beheersing van de Engelse taal (Nederlands is een pré).
