**THE NO-NONSENSE SUMMARY**:This position is intended for serious, hard-working professionals who are looking to be part of a multinational growth organization. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager. Your responsibilities encompass a range of tasks, including processing inbound shipments, conducting physical quality control checks, generating Non-Conformity Reports, collaborating with the Quality department, and assisting with outbound procedures such as picking, packing, booking outbound orders, reorganizing warehouse inventory, and placing processed stock into inventory. **Be sure to read to the end of the description to be sure you don’t miss an important detail.**
**ROLE’S MISSION**
To serve our suppliers and end customers by ensuring correct, safe, and efficient receipt, storage of warehoused products
**DESIRED OUTCOMES**
- Achieve a 99% accuracy rate in the receiving process by carefully inspecting and documenting incoming shipments, reducing errors and discrepancies in inventory.
- Set up and regularly revise the guidelines, and procedures for placing incoming shipments into inventory.
- Consistently align and develop the current warehouse operations with the established backend system.
- Accurately process data using designated tools (Backend, Henkel eshop, other Supplier portals, labeling software)
- Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work under pressure. Stress tolerance is an important factor in facing challenges. Remain calm and work under pressure to make good (split-second) decisions and achieve goals & deadlines.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to enhancing inbound procedures, with a willingness to explore potential improvements in warehousing practices as well.
- Consistently meet recurring deadlines while effectively prioritizing the completion of shipments as necessary.
**THE ROLE**
Yes, you read that right - we’re looking for a ROCKSTAR. The title may sound a little wacky, but it’s really quite true. We’re looking for that special someone that has not one, but two unique skills - amazing attention-to-detail-get-it done mentality and stress tolerance.
As a fast-growing multinational, I’m not ashamed to admit we’re starting to come apart at the seams. Our products and services have found a sweet spot in the market, and now we’re struggling to maintain the high level of efficient warehouse operations that we want to give to our customers.

**So, what will you be doing?**
The position and responsibility will grow along with you. As a small, but growing company, the role will be exciting for you if you like working in a small team and having a lot of freedom to define your roles and responsibilities. No two days will likely be the same.
Broadly speaking, we currently have two major areas that have been identified by the warehouse as priorities for the coming fiscal year.
**1. Inbound Operations Management (about 50% of your time)**
**Examples of activities**:
- Supervise a team of 2-3 personnel to check incoming shipments, verifying against delivery notes and packing slips.
- Process inbound inventory in the backend system, including label printing, lot number allocation, and location assignment.
- Ensure all inbound items are correctly matched with documentation and stored as per company standards.
- Gradually assume responsibility for preparing all necessary documentation for inbound processes following comprehensive training.
**2. Warehouse Support (about 50% of your time)**
In our business, we handle incoming shipments arriving throughout the day from various carriers. These shipments encompass parcels, pallets, and containers, and the role involves efficiently processing inbound inventory while meeting established deadlines. Additionally, the position requires coordination with the outbound team to ensure accurate and timely documentation preparation.
**Examples of activities**:
- Set internal shipping dates to facilitate the smooth transition of inventory to the outbound team.
- Collaborate with outbound personnel to ensure accurate and timely documentation preparation.
- Assist with the picking of outbound orders during the day, when required.
- Participate in warehouse reorganization and maintenance activities to optimize space utilization.
- Assisting in certain outbound activities like picking, and packing outbound orders in your free space.
