As a Scrum Master in our group, you give guidance to two agile teams responsible for driving the Focus KPI on our EUV products. Core responsibility is to assess and validate performance of our tools and generate and scout possible improvements to feed back to new product generation.

Our expectation is that you’ll grow the agile mindset and build great high performance teams which makes the difference at ASML

**Role and responsibilities**
- Drives daily operation of the team
- Reports out on team performance
- Guides the team on how to get the most out of self-organization
- Creates transparency and alignment on team speed, quality of deliverables and happiness
- Facilitates and coaches the team in getting the work done
- Get involved in the technical details and decision making
- Coaches the team with handling dependencies and risks
- Provides analyses of current team rituals, evaluates bottlenecks and advice regarding improvements in team rituals
- Develop ways to have a view on team velocity and planning/tracking together with the Product Owners
- Contribute to a long term vision and roadmap together with team

**Education and experience**
- Master degree or equivalent working and thinking level in Physics,
- Experience with agile working and likely to have some experience as Scrum Master.
- Good knowledge of business concepts and principles of improving maturity levels of teams, team-building and facilitation, removing roadblocks.
- Solid experience with iterative development fundamentals and teaching this to others.

- Builds team and coaches team members to act as a team
- Acts as a leader and escalation level for the team
- Chairs and drives needed rituals (scrum, sprint and program increment)
- Drives continuous improvement, i.e. challenges the team and yourself in view of the agile key performance parameters towards greater efficiency, innovation and quality of work
- Ensures alignment with other Scrum Masters on dependencies
- Ensures focus and keeps the teams from getting distracted
- Ensures collaboration between scrum teams
