Electrotechnical Mechanic

IQIP, the global leader in pile driving and handling equipment, is looking for an Electrotechnical Mechanic. Together with our 400 colleagues across the globe, we provide smart and sustainable solutions for a variety of projects. Our work extends both at sea, where we contribute to wind farm and oil & gas projects, and on land, where we engage in projects related to bridges and ports. You will be contributing to the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrically controlled hydraulic equipment.

**Your work**

As an Electrotechnical Mechanic, you will work on our clients' projects around the world, including the installation of foundations for offshore wind farms that provide thousands of households with green energy. Each project presents its own electrotechnical challenges during setup. If necessary, we support our offshore colleagues, sometimes even using smart glasses

As an Electrotechnical Mechanic, you are capable of independently testing electrical systems, diagnosing issues, and performing maintenance. You will test new equipment and commission it. You work at our location in Sliedrecht from a specially equipped space to tackle electrical challenges.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- A passion for technology (electrical/hydraulic), being a self-starter, and aiming to successfully complete a project.
- Functioning well under time pressure.
- Possessing solid electrotechnical knowledge.
- Understanding PCs/programming/automation/control systems.
- Working safely, yet purposefully.

Furthermore, proficiency in English, a driver's license B, and a completed vocational education (MBO) in electrotechnology are expected. Additionally, several years of experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
