In this role, you will focus on the analysis, reporting, and optimization of our Azure cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and strategic goals.

**The role***

We are looking for a passionate individual who has - or wants to develop - a solid understanding of cloud environments and can translate input from Azure and business users into actionable recommendations.

**What you would do***

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct detailed analysis of Azure cloud environments, identifying opportunities for optimization in cost, performance, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide insights into cloud operations.
- Monitor, track, and report on cloud performance metrics, including cost, efficiency, security, and compliance, utilizing tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Cost Management.
- Support the Cloud Centre of Excellence by providing analysis on cloud governance, security policies, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of cloud governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with company standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct cloud cost analysis, budget forecasting, and provide recommendations to optimize cloud expenditure.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and cloud education across teams, facilitating the creation of training sessions, workshops, and cloud community events.

**What you bring***

**Desired Skills and Ambitions**:

- Drive and pro-activity in building experience in cloud analysis, cloud governance, or related roles, focused on Azure services.
- Ambition to build a strong proficiency in Azure tools, including Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Azure Cost Management.
- A passion for analyzing cloud environments, identifying inefficiencies, and providing actionable recommendations.
- Ambition to build an understanding of cloud security, compliance best practices, and cloud governance frameworks.
- Ability to work with datasets, perform data analysis, and create comprehensive reports and visualizations using tools like Power BI or Azure dashboards.
- Desire to build knowledge of cloud-native architectures, with an emphasis on monitoring, cost optimization, and security practices.
- Optional: Basic programming or scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) to automate reporting and data extraction.

**Relevant Microsoft Certifications**:
In this role, you will work on gaining all the below certifications while being actively coached by experienced team members (consultants).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals (Optional)
