**Vacancy**:
The International School Utrecht is looking to recruit maternity cover for an enthusiastic International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme **classroom teacher**. The position is for **Grade 2**.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- A primary teaching qualification (DUO recognised)
- Experience teaching IB PYP is preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of inquiry-based teaching
- A minimum of two years’ classroom experience
- Appropriate technology skills to support delivery of the curriculum.
- Willingness to work closely and collaboratively in a strong team.
- Ability to be a committed team player.
- Near-native level spoken and written English language.
- Demonstrates professionalism, commitment, integrity, and perseverance.
- Be culturally competent with an internationally minded attitude.
- An up-to-date knowledge and understanding of safeguarding requirements and procedures.
- Ability to design and develop education environments and programmes and build on students learning, development and interactions.
- Ability to communicate with colleagues and parents effectively.
