You’ll be responsible for key tasks such as:

- **Supplier Sourcing and Selection**: Conduct research, obtain quotes, and assess supplier capabilities to build strong partnerships.
- **Supporting Purchase Orders and Vendor Forms**: Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies while directly influencing our supply chain.
- **Updating Purchasing Records**: Maintain and organize essential records and documentation.
- **Reviewing Contracts and Agreements**: Develop your business savvy by assisting with supplier agreements.
- **Cost-Saving Initiatives**: Be part of process improvements that directly impact our bottom line.
- **Ethical Conduct and Compliance**: Learn how ethics, confidentiality, and compliance are the backbone of a solid business foundation.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in an HBO studies related to business administration, supply chain management, finance, or a related field with a foundation in accounting principles.
- Basic understanding of accounting.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to handle tasks independently and take responsibility for impactful results.
- Analytical and quantitative skills to work effectively with data and numbers.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and able to speak and write in Dutch.
- Curiosity and Drive:An action-oriented and result-driven mindset with a talent for seizing opportunities.

**What We Offer**:
Icarus Business provides a dynamic and supportive workplace that encourages both learning and professional development. This **full-time internship** is a **4-5 month hands-on experience** where you’ll gain real insight into the world of procurement, and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing company. You’ll receive an **allowance of €500 per month** for full-time work.
