**About the role**:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Data Analyst to join the Data and Analytics team of one of our clients in Amsterdam. This critical role will focus on the financial and accounting value stream of the Company, working closely together with the Domain Owner to build relevant data products that directly impact the Company’s reporting and operational processes. The Data Analyst will have full vertical responsibility for the data, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of financial data across the organization.

This role is supported by the Data Platform Team, which is responsible for the technical platform that the data products are developed on.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and maintain data products and solutions that support financial and accounting operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify data needs and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Take full ownership of data products, overseeing the entire lifecycle from inception through to deployment and ongoing support.
- Work closely with the data platform team to leverage platform services, ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity, implementing best practices for data management and governance.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in data product development, with a focus on financial and accounting data.
- Strong proficiency in data modelling, SQL and PowerBI.
- Experience with Microsoft technology stack, Azure cloud data platform and understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Data Mesh principles and data product thinking is an advantage.
- Strong familiarity with financial systems and accounting principles, with the ability to understand and interpret financial data.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably with a background in Finance and Accounting, or in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Develop and present compelling business cases to clients, articulating the value of data strategies and products.
- Work with clients to develop data-driven KPIs and metrics to measure business performance and ROI.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic guidance and support for our clients.
