**Introduction to the job**:
ASML is the world's top supplier of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry. Our factories manufacture complex machines that are critical for the production of integrated circuits or chips. To ensure efficient production with mínimal lead time and costs while maintaining top quality, we prioritize keeping our workforce skilled, trained, and well-equipped. To serve this purpose globally, Learning & Development at ASML consists of eight different academies, each providing learning & knowledge solutions on topics relevant for employees within their sector.

**Your team**

As our new Learning Solution Designer, you’ll be part of the Design & Development team which, in turn, fits into the bigger picture of the Manufacturing Academy.

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Gather information and insights from experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to support learning development
- Design and develop effective, efficient and engaging learning materials (including detailed storyboards for e-learning modules, presentations, manuals, and assessments) using instructional design principles and adult learning theories
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, functionality, and usability of learning materials
- Stay current with industry trends, standards and emerging technologies in learning design and development

**Education and experience**:

- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in learning and development in organizations, human resource development, educational sciences, or related field
- Proven experience in instructional design and crafting thorough storyboards for diverse learning materials

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM)
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Proven creative thinking and problem solving-abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as a cross-sector team in a matrix organization
- Attention to detail
- Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, MS Teams skills

**Other information**:

- Experience with e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline) and learning management systems
- 5 Moments of Need® Designer Certificate
- Experience in evaluation methods, tools and techniques
