Job Summary: The Payroll Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the payroll processing system, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for employees in compliance with Dutch regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a deep understanding of Dutch payroll laws, exceptional organizational skills, and proficiency with AFAS payroll software.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees using AFAS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.- Ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.- Oversee the preparation and submission of payroll taxes and other statutory filings.- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, bonuses, and other adjustments.- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and resolve any discrepancies.- Prepare and distribute payroll reports and financial statements as needed.- Supervise and provide guidance to payroll staff.- Stay current with changes in payroll regulations and best practices.- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.- Implement and maintain payroll software systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.- Conduct regular audits to ensure the integrity of payroll data and processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.- Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll, within the Netherlands.- Comprehensive knowledge of Dutch payroll laws and regulations.- Proficiency with AFAS payroll software and WorkDay.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional payroll or HR software.- Professional certification in payroll management (e.g., NIRPA).- Experience in a multinational company.
