Currently we are looking for a

**Manager Supply Planning EM**

to be located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

**Responsibilities**:
The Supply Planning Manager will lead a team of 5 Regional Supply Planners based in the Netherlands.

Responsible for balancing the short term and long term supply plans and inventory optimization of all business lines within the Engineered Materials (EM) business segment, covering EMEA.

Major activities:

- Helps to operationalize the EMEA business strategy as it relates to demand, supply, and inventory.
- Guides the team in balancing the supply and demand for the business requirements by submitting a monthly supply plan (up to 24 months).
- Drives one harmonized / standardized planning process, leveraging best practices within the team and within the global planning arena.
- Co-creates innovative solutions to complex supply issues, highly collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Validates stocking strategy, ensures alignment of master data and agreed service levels.
- Ensures that planning provides for adequate service to customers in the form of on-time delivery and adequate lead-time.

Qualifications:

- 5-10 years experience in a similar role
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or proven track record in a related field
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems/ concepts (demand, supply, MRP) and planning optimization tools.
- Proven leadership capabilities in Planning Arena with strong team building and communication Skills.
- Formal Supply Chain and Demand Planning knowledge.
- Strong analytical and excel skills
- Able to translate the regional business strategy into supply chain planning strategy for the team
- Can quickly and concisely state the problem (at the executive level) and identify root cause and solutions.
- Can communicate at all levels (including the leadership levels).
- Strong presentation skills to be able to present in key meetings and the S&OP process
- APICS certification
- Stress resistant, able to work in a MATRIX organization.
- Fluent in English
