**Omschrijving organisatie**:
Het Baken Almere is een stichting voor interconfessioneel onderwijs, waartoe onze vijf scholen behoren:

- Stad College Vakcollege
- Poort - school voor havo en mavo
- Park Lyceum mavo+, havo en atheneum
- Trinitas Gymnasium
- International School Almere
In de maatschappij wordt een discussie gevoerd over de rol van het onderwijs. De afgelopen jaren is er een brede maatschappelijke discussie op gang gekomen over de rol van het onderwijs. De landelijke vraag is: leiden wij alleen op voor een diploma of speelt het onderwijs een rol in de bredere ontwikkeling van de jongeren. Voor Het Baken Almere is dit geen vraag. Wij zijn een interconfessionele onderwijsorganisatie en wij zijn van mening dat een brede ontwikkeling van jonge mensen de kernopdracht is van ons onderwijs.

Leerlingen van nu zijn de burgers van morgen. Wij willen de leerlingen scholen in de competenties die nodig zijn om succesvol te kunnen zijn in een voortdurend veranderende samenleving, Daarnaast hebben wij vanuit onze missie de opdracht om leerlingen zich te laten ontwikkelen tot burgers die de waarden en normen van onze democratische samenleving, die gebaseerd is op de christelijk joodse traditie, zich intrinsiek eigen maken.

**Functieomschrijving**:
Wij nodigen u alleen uit te solliciteren als u voldoet aan het gevraagde functieprofiel. Andere sollicitaties zullen niet in behandeling worden genomen.

**Physics Teacher - 0,3 FTE.**:
Temporary Contract - Maternity leave Workdays will be on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Start date 1 February 2025 - 30 April 2025

**Requirements and profile**:

- Teach DP Physics;
- (International) Teaching Qualification / Certificate that qualifies for accreditation according to the Dutch educational system;
- Excellent command of the English language;
- Experience in DP Physics is preferred;
- Only applicants who have a residence/work permit in the Netherlands will be considered.

The package will be commensurate with the responsibilities of the position and will include the following elements:

- Salary depending on previous experience and qualifications (based on the Dutch CAO VO (Collective Labour Agreement Secondary Education)
- ABP Retirement/Pension scheme;
- School closure Holidays;
