Hypsos is a leading company in the field of temporary and permanent exhibitions, interior design, international museums, brand experiences, and global events. We deliver turnkey solutions in close collaboration with international design agencies that create narrative spaces. Depending on the question, these projects are carried out from design to realization.

Hypsos is the central point of contact for all disciplines; We create complete visitor journeys, combining advanced technologies with craftsmanship in the design and realisation.

What are you going to do?
We are looking for a motivated colleague to strengthen our team and who can be deployed in several areas. You will be supported internally by experienced colleagues so that you can properly master and carry out your role and responsibilities.

In this very varied position, you will be co-responsible for the development of projects and estimating labor and material costs, you will make purchases and you will support the project managers. Communicating and advising on financial costs and project timelines to sales and project managers to help them win their bids. You need to have a keen eye for detail and skills in estimating projects from a helicopter view in order to meet our client's expectations.

Who are you?
- You are in possession of a bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical direction (architecture and knowledge of furniture construction are an advantage);
- You are numerically strong;
- You have knowledge of materials used within the industry;
- Experience in the field of windows, budgeting and calculations, possibly purchasing and project management is an advantage;
- You like to be able to be deployed in multiple areas;
- You have the ability and willingness to work both independently and in a team;
- You are driven and eager to learn, which allows you to make this super versatile position a success
- You have a good command of the English language and knowledge of technical jargon.

In addition, you also have the following properties:

- Very good communication skills;
- Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills;
- Being able to read and understand (construction) drawings, designs, blueprints, tender documentation. In multiple languages (Dutch, English & possibly German);
- Time management.

Most of the bids you work on are submitted in competition, with the budget making up a large part of the contract award. In addition, in addition to the price, quality is also considered, so the winning quote is not always the cheapest. That's why you have to submit not only budgetary costs and analyses, but often also a quality report, which you helped write. You are involved in small, one-off projects, but certainly also in larger, long-term projects that can run over several years.

Thanks to your good communication skills and knowledge, you know how to ask the right questions and you get the question clear, from which you will make proposals within the set time frames/deadlines and within the set budgets. Based on this, a project can be assessed in terms of quality, timelines and budgeting of labour, material costs and transport.

You'll read blueprints, analyze plans, drawings, and other project documentation to estimate costs. You have a wide range of partnerships with (sub)contractors, engineers, suppliers, designers and architects.

You draw up documents to obtain quotations and can also purchase them. You present your plans to your internal customers and do risk assessments. Everything is recorded in the project cost management document for the project management and you support the project manager.

In addition, you conclude contracts and contribute to tenders in order to achieve a successful offer. You are involved in many phases of the projects

Personal Skills:

- You have a good command of the Dutch and English language;
- You are preferably available at short notice;
- You are well-versed in Excel.

Hours in consultation. Contract for 32 to 40 hours.

Salary depends on education and experience.
