Business Intelligence Manager Europe

In this exciting role you lead the charge to unlock the potential of dashboards and analytics tools across European markets. You make sure data tells the right story every time
- to inform senior management about business results,
- to inspire marketeers on the next major innovation or television commercial or
- to trigger the next sales deal with a major European retailer.
You will work for one of the world’s largest dairy companies, FrieslandCampina that is the
home to some of the most beautiful European dairy brands: Campina, Optimel, Chocomel, Yazoo, NoyNoy, Napolact and Pottyös. Here you will work with colleagues from all over the world. Being part of our ambitious and diverse Insights & Analytics team.Wat we vragen
To excel in this dynamic and versatile role, you should bring the following:
- A passion for the FMCG sector and for building a data-driven company
- A completed Master degree related to Business, Business Intelligence or Analytics.
- At least 6 years of experience in a Business Intelligence or Business analysis role in a commercial company and/or a data-driven consultancy.
- Experience with continuous data sources like Nielsen, GFK, Kantar, IRI or similar.
- You know how insights from these sources can deliver commercial impact.
- You are skilled with PowerBI. Having a Microsoft PL 300 certificate is a plus.
- It is a plus if you are comfortable to work with SQL and DataBricks.
- You are an analytical thinker who sees the big picture, but is accurate when needed.
- You have good project management-, and process improvement skills.
- You have good people
- and stakeholder management skills.
- You can communicate and visualize complex topics in a clear and compelling way.
- You are a curious, enthusiastic personality and you enjoy rolling up your sleeves.

- Translate the BI vision, together with colleagues, in the right roadmap and user experience.
- Build win-win relations with the Commercial Excellence team, the IT department and the Marketing & Sales community. And foster good teamwork with data agencies on data topics.
- Design high quality new BI solutions:
Help to derive and prioritize business needs
Translate these into requirements, functional
- and technical designs
Test and iterate solutions built to ensure the quality
- Lead projects on the BI roadmap: e.g. to build dashboards, to automate data quality etc..
- Champion data-driven working at Marketing and Sales. Lead implementations and trainings.
- React swiftly and decisively on high priority Business Intelligence (data) issues.Run pan European analyses: work with IT and global commercial team in the implementation of analytics tools and analyses.
e.g. Marketing Effectiveness Models, Market forecasters, price elasticity etc.
- Build small pilot (e.g. Microsoft excel) version tools or analyses if needed.
