**Role and Department***

Canon Europa has over 800 000 devices in the field that require maintenance. To ensure that our Service Engineers have sufficient availability of service parts, we manage an extensive service parts network of central and local warehouses as well as field stock. The European Service Parts department (ESPM) is daily managing the Forecast-to-Pay process to balance availability, speed of supply, and costs for 80k+ parts.

We are looking for an **energetic and experienced Planner** to be a part of the Canon Service Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for the supply of service-parts in Europe to our engineers, partners and repair centers. Having the right parts at the right place, at the right time, without overstock, is key in balancing the service levels with mínimal downtime of our equipment, which is why planning and the collaboration with our suppliers is crucial.

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for:

- Managing the supply planning and ordering process from suppliers on a weekly basis;
- Optimizing inventory levels based on demand and cost of operations;
- Collaborating with pan-European teams and suppliers stakeholders to achieve KPIs;
- Thorough analysis, targeting improvement opportunities, and taking action to drive improvement;
- Proposing and implementing process and tool enhancements to improve demand forecast accuracy;
- Defining and demonstrating continuous improvement to meet targets and KPIs.

**What we ask**:
For this role, the profile we are looking for is:

- Minimum Bachelor-level education or equivalent in a relevant field;
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills;
- Assertive team player with problem solving mind set;
- Ability to work independently and with mínimal guidance;
- Fluent Business English (both written and spoken);
- Comfortable working with different systems and ICT solutions (e.g. Oracle, Power BI, Sharepoint, etc.);

We are looking for a **customer oriented,** **delivery-focused** professional who is a true **team player** and really enjoys **creating solutions to problems**. You have an impeccable **high standard of accuracy**, which will benefit you in planning, analysis, and maintenance of master data. You don't stop at **proposing solutions**, you also create and manage the action plan to implement the solution, and monitor that all stakeholders are following your guidelines.
