Our hotels are both located on the Rembrandtplein across from each other, in the entertainment area of Amsterdam. Although both NH Amsterdam Schiller and NH Amsterdam Caransa are two separate hotels, we work in one team. NH Amsterdam Schiller in particular has a rich history as Mr Schiller was the founder of the hotel as well as a painter. Therefore, you will still find a lot of his paintings and other authentic architectural details in our hotel.

Our hotels belong together and you will be scheduled in both properties which brings a lot of variety to your work. Our teams are very tight, which gives you the chance to learn about different sides of the hospitality industry.

**A day in the life of a Food and Beverage Breakfast Supervisor**

**06:45** With a cup of coffee you prepare your shift and the handover for your team.

**07:15** You go through the day with the team to prepare them.

**08:00** You check whether the preparatory work is going as instructed in all the outlets and assist where necessary. Together you work your way through the 'morning rush'.

**10:00** In the absence of your manager, you attend the Morning Meeting. After the meeting you pass by the Banqueting department to check the coffee break.

**11:15** Enjoy your lunch with colleagues from other departments.

**11:45** Before the lunch rush starts, you check if everything is set up correctly.

**14:00** You make sure the handover is updated for the evening shift.

**14:45** The evening shift has arrived, and you make sure they know everything they need to know to begin their shift.

**15:00** Time to go home
