**We have a great opportunity for an**Organization Improvement Manager**to join our plant in Hoogezand.**

Essity is a leading global health & hygiene company with well known brands as Tork, Tena, Tempo in the areas of Consumer Goods, Medical Solutions and Professional Hygiene. Our Hoogezand plant mainly produces incontinence products and diapers for the well-known brands TENA and Libero. Our plant consists of 3 factories with 18 production lines. We have around 500 people proudly working in Hoogezand.

As our Organization Improvement Manager you will have the overall responsibility for driving and monitoring the Manufacturing Excellence program and organizational improvements on the site **.**

You will be a member of the leadership team in Hoogezand, supporting the development and implementation of site Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures. Together with your team of Organization Improvement Specialists and Capability Leaders (5 FTE) you will manage capability development and knowledge transfer at all levels in the organization.

- You will be a role model for safety
- You will be a role model for the implementation of the overall HMEx roadmap including leading the roll-out of the Total Productive Maintenance program within the OIM team, in partnership with the Unit Managers
- You will be responsible for implementing and managing the Manufacturing Excellence program for the manufacturing site
- You will support site target setting and planning for the Hoogezand site with identified deliverables including following up with respective actions regarding Technical Mastery, Skill Matrix, Rubik, Essity Work Processes like DDS/CL/CIL/DH/RCA/BDE, etc.
- You will manage capability development and knowledge transfer at all levels in the organization. Provide coaching to site leadership team and RST members
- You will set up and manage onboarding and training of new employees at all levels in organization including the set up of training programs
- You will actively coach and develop leaders on site, including giving training on soft skill and leadership development
- You will develop partnership with site controller to understand and drive financial impact and with the HR manager regarding education, change management, leadership development
- You will drive site participation in training, networks, and knowledge building activities
- You will represent the Hoogezand site in HMEx network and actively participate in the development of TPM pillars within the Business Unit Personal Care

**Who You Are**:

- You have at least a Bachelor or preferable a University Degree (preferably in technical engineering)
- A minimum of seven years business experience and leadership experience in the manufacturing industry
- Profound practical management experience from operations, preferably in an operations manager position
- 3-5 years of experience in similar roles
- Extensive technical and financial understanding, understanding of the total value chain
- You are a strong communicator and change enabler
- You have strong influencing skills regarding in
- and external stakeholders
- You have the ability to turn theory into practice
- You have Excellent knowledge of English language, both written and spoken
