**Opportunity**

Cencora is currently looking to appoint a Compliance Lead for Norway and Netherlands. This leader will serve in a senior position within the Office of Compliance to develop, implement and maintain an effective compliance programme, with a particular focus on operations within Norway and Netherlands.

The position is responsible for providing support to the VP & Senior Compliance Officer and across both Norway and Netherlands to ensure compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures and for establishing policies and standards and implementing procedures to ensure that the Compliance Program is effective in identifying, preventing, identifying, detecting and correcting non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Alliance Healthcare Netherlands is a versatile company operating throughout the pharmaceutical care chain, from producer to consumer. The headquarter office in Netherlands is located in Veghel. It encompasses both retail Pharmacy Operations and Pharmaceutical Wholesale Operations. Presently, it includes 57 Boots pharmacies and the Boots online store. Moreover, the company engages in pre-wholesale activities for hospitals and the pharmaceutical industry, offers home delivery of medical devices, supports clinical trial sourcing and patient programs, and supplies goods to a network of independent pharmacies.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supports the Office of Compliance team by developing and maintaining an effective compliance program for the Corporation and updates that program as necessary and in a timely manner.
- Drafts and/or oversees the development of policies and procedures to support an effective compliance program and compliance with all statutes, regulations and written directives applicable to the Corporation and its various business units.
- Maintains a good understanding and level of knowledge of existing and emerging regulatory compliance and rules and regulations applicable to the Corporation ,including but not limited to FCPA, Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Corruption.
- Provides guidance, advice and/or training and educational programmes to improve employees’ understanding of laws and regulatory requirements applicable to their functions.
- Liaises with executives regarding specific compliance questions, policies, & sensitive investigations.
- Prepares clear and concise compliance reports for management and VP & Senior Compliance Officer.
- Reviews and evaluates changes in corporate compliance regulations, policies, procedures and practices.
- Participates as a member on internal committees related to compliance.

**Key Requirements**

The Compliance Officer will have knowledge of laws, regulations and written directives applicable to the business operations of the Corporation, including, but not limited to, associated regulation across Norway and Netherlands and broad experience in fields such as law, regulatory compliance, business administration and healthcare. The jobholder will ideally have experience in the fields of regulatory compliance, pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or distribution or related expertise. Experience of working within a multinational is a prerequisite.

**Minimum skills, knowledge and ability requirements**:

- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
- Fluent English language skills required. Fluency in either Dutch or Norweigan would be beneficial.
- Strong leadership skills; ability to effectively supervise and manage others;
- Excellent organisational, motivational and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent project management skills;
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Powerpoint;
- Can be located in Netherlands or Norway;
