De Europese School Den Haag (ESH) is een unieke school. We zijn in 2012 opgericht om de kinderen van medewerkers van Europese agentschappen op te leiden. We bieden meertalig en multicultureel onderwijs aan kinderen op de basis
- en middelbare school, met als hoogtepunt het Europees baccalaureaat. Wij zijn een officieel erkende Europese School, beheerd en deels gefinancierd door het Nederlandse onderwijssysteem, en geaccrediteerd door de Raad van Bestuur van de Europese Scholen sinds december 2012.

Per 1 augustus 2024, hebben we binnen de middelbare school een vacature voor een:
**Support Coördinator**

**(1 FTE)**

**Wat ga je doen?**
In deze functie houd jij je bezig met het opzetten en beheren van de zorgstructuur bij de school, het coördineren van de zorg, maar ook het coachen en ondersteunen van de medewerkers. Onder jouw brede takenpakket vallen onder andere:

- Het coördineren van activiteiten die voortvloeien uit de uitvoering van het vastgestelde zorgplan
- Het uitvoeren van de functie Coördinator Passsend onderwijs ( CoPa) van de school
- Het actueel houden van protocollen
- Het voorzitten van het JES overleg, ook ben je het contactpersoon van ESH bij het samenwerkingsverband SWVZHW en ben je aanwezig bij alle werkveldoverleggen
- Het bijhouden van het digitale leerlingvolgsysteem, de leerlingendossiers en het zorgarchief
- Het voeren van overleg over zorgleerlingen en over de opvang van leerlingen met gedragsproblemen
- Samenwerken met het bureau van de Secretary General van de European Schools in Brussel met betrekking tot de (eind)examens en het organiseren van de aanpassingen voor SEN leerlingen
- Het informeren en adviseren van medewerkers over didactische en pedagogische ontwikkelingsaspecten, leerbelemmeringen en specifieke hulpvragen van leerlingen
- Het adviseren over de realisatie van een specifiek onderwijsaanbod, in het bijzonder voor leerlingen met een zorgbehoefte
- Ondersteunen bij het opstellen van individuele handelingsplannen (OPP’s)
- Het adviseren van medewerkers, de directie en ouders en leerlingen over het inzetten van interne en externe hulpverleners en -instanties

**Jouw netwerk bestaat voornamelijk uit**
- Zorgprofessionals binnen en buiten de school waarbij je ook de uitvoering van hun werkzaamheden coördineert
- Externe deskundigen om informatie uit te wisselen
- Het middle management van de school om hen te adviseren over de zorgstructuur

**Dit heb je nodig**
- Masters in Educational Needs (bij voorkeur richting gedrag)
- Theoretisch en praktisch gerichte kennis van leerlingenondersteuning en -zorg op een school
- Kennis van / ervaring met de zorgstructuur van de gemeente Den Haag
- Kennis van / ervaring met de wet op Passend Onderwijs
- Vaardigheid in het coördineren van de zorgstructuur in een school
- Goede sociale en communicatieve vaardigheden
- Ervaring met het werken binnen een team dat is toegewijd aan leerondersteuning, sociaal-emotionele ondersteuning en intensieve taalondersteuning
- Ervaring met ICT in een educatieve context (assessment data, student management systemen, diagnostische software)
- Ervaring met het uitvoeren en interpreteren van individuele onderzoeken
- Ervaring met het coachen / begeleiden van leraren bij het aanvragen van voorzieningen voor studenten met individuele behoeften
- Ervaring in internationaal / intercultureel onderwijs
- Vloeiend in zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal in woord en geschrift

**Wij bieden**
- Een aanstelling op basis van de Nederlandse CAO-VO en een salariëring conform schaal 11 OOP, salaris is tussen €3,186 - €5,862 bruto o.b.v. 40 uur. De trede in de schaal is gebaseerd op relevante achtergrond en werkervaring
- Een aanstelling van één jaar met uitzicht op een verlenging of vaste aanstelling (bij goed functioneren).
