We have an exciting opportunity for an Inbound Transportation Manager-EMEA based in Venlo (Netherlands)

What You’ll Do:
This position will support the Vice President International Logistics with daily operational processes and functions. Applicant will be key point person on multiple department projects and work closely with the entire team and other key functional areas within the organization. The focus is to manage all functions related to International inbound and outbound logistics for EMEA. The ability to problem-solve, work independently as well as cross-functionally, and be driven to improve service levels in logistics are essential.
- Leads and supports all team members of Inbound Transporation for inbound and outbound EMEA, which includes, 4 direct reports
- Manages all daily inbound and outbound transportation functions for all Capri origins to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
- Works daily with service providers regarding cargo management activities
- Evaluates team abilities to identify training and shifts in workload to match skillsets
- Analyzes and publishes daily Logistics reports to identify issues and develop a plan of action
- Owns Origin Cargo Management for EMEA region by facilitating activities between shipper and Logistic Provider
- Partners with Customs Compliance team on operational changes and improvements
- Ability to manage internal customer relationships with brand stakeholders
- Communicates any logístical challenges to business partners
- Identifies, maps out and implements process improvements to optimize service and cost

You’ll Need to Have:

- Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5-to-7-year relevant work experience in international logistics
- Strong management & leadership skills
- Ability to delegate specific tasks
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, “self-starter” environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Time management skills
