**The Role**:
As a data scientist in the energy modelling team, you will develop and maintain advanced optimization models and forecasting pipelines for integrated energy solutions. Your models will be used by our in-house developed simulation platform and energy management system.

**Your Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Design, develop, and maintain advanced optimization models and forecasting pipelines for energy management in congested areas. Examples include:

- time series forecasting for power demand/supply and trading availability
- mathematical optimization models for solar, battery and charge point control.
- Analyse, process, and visualize large data sets and model performance.
- Translate and validate model requirements with business needs.
- Develop and Implement APIs to expose your models in our microservice architecture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

**What You Bring To The Table**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Sustainable Energy, or a related field.
- Knowledge of energy markets and energy system modelling.
- Experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL and Git.
- Experience with data science and machine learning libraries.
- Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Machine Learning and Azure Databricks.
