**Imagine the Future with Envalior**

As a** Global VP Operations (Manufacturing)** at Envalior, you will lead Envalior’s global manufacturing organization for the Performance and Specialty Materials Businesses with sites in Europe, Asia and the Americas, therefore extensive travelling is required.

You will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and realizing Envalior’s Operations strategy. Your focus will be on aligning with company guidelines and requirements to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to overall business success. You will lead the global manufacturing organizations of the Performance (PM) and Specialty Materials (SM) businesses and develop and execute strategies that maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness, while adhering to Envalior's global SHE and Manufacturing Excellence standards. You will also proactively identify and mitigate business risks, while driving the successful implementation of Envalior's overarching strategy.

You will make key contributions to Envalior by:

- Developing and executing the Envalior Operations strategy in line with Envalior’s Strategy to deliver agreed results. This includes developing long-term improvement and investment plans for Envalior Manufacturing assets to meet current and future needs on customer service and profitability.
- As safety is one of Envalior’s core values, you will drive a safety culture to ensure a safe and healthy working place for employees and you also drive Envalior’s QESH-standards to meet legal obligations and guarantee the quality of processes and products.
- You will also implement and manage a cost-effective and efficient Operations organization, standard working processes, and systems to enable optimal business performance and meet legal and Envalior requirements.
- Additionally, you will formulate, approve, and manage the yearly cost budget for the PM/SM Operations organization to ensure the right finances are available.
- Defining and implementing performance indicators and periodical reporting of actual performance against these indicators to facilitate timely decision-making will also be part of your role.
- Lastly, you will implement HR structures and systems, manage, coach, and motivate the Operations leadership team to guarantee a motivated workforce that meets current and future requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Holds a master's degree in Chemistry, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Brings more than 10 years of professional experience in operations, preferably in a global or multi-regional business environment..
- Demonstrates strong experience in leading transformations
- Strong experience in operational excellence and program management. Has developed and implemented best practices and building-blocks for manufacturing improvement. He has integrated manufacturing operations and designed blueprints for regions. Has expertise in risk and asset management, SHE, compliance, and QA/regulatory affairs.
- Has a proven track record in deploying lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies as part of a Lean approach (e.g., Kaizen, TPM, JIT, TPS) across complex multi-site operations in an accelerated manner.
- Has experience with process/quality improvement techniques (e.g. BPR, Six Sigma), and quality process standards if required by customers or desired by the company (e.g. ISO 9001, TS 16949)
- Has experience with harzardous operations.
- Is fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Brings strong leadership capabilities to mobilize people by creating a compelling sense of purpose that aligns their efforts with a shared vision and motivates them to take action towards achieving common goals.
- Comfortable with working in a matrix organization
- Has successful led global or multi-regional manufacturing or supply chain organizationand therefore built work experience in an international context with multiple cultures (i.e. Asia and/or Europe and/or the US).
- Has a track record of developing teams and strengthening others by prioritizing their development, understanding their strengths and helping them reaching their full potential.
- Is able to travel extensively.
