**Job Summary**
The Healthcare Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor communicates quality policy and objectives and ensures these are implemented and maintained on local level. You develop operating procedures, train QA Team and internal clients on operating procedures and regulatory topics. You assess and maintain the quality documents in alignment with EU GDP/GMP and ISO 9001/ISO 13485 requirements. This position participates in internal/ client/ supplier and agency audits and participates in various projects such as implementation of a new client or system. You maintain knowledge of healthcare quality regulation and assess the risks associated with storage and transportation of healthcare products by addressing these to higher management.
**Responsibilities**:
- You implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with EU GMP/GMP Guidelines and ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards;
- Providing support to ensure compliance with local and regional legal requirements and regulatory authorities is also part of your day;
- As QA Supervisor you make recommendations to the Responsible Person (RP)/ Qualified Person (QP), QA Manager and the EU QA/RA Director with regard to resources required to support the QMS and the commitment made towards our clients;
- The RP can ask you to make decisions on the final disposition of finished products, returned, rejected, recalled or falsified products;
- A very important part of your job is the promotion of our Quality culture within UPS Healthcare Logistics & Distribution (HLD);
- You participate/follow up on audits (internal/ external) and support investigations into non-conformances and customer complaints. You follow-up on all Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPAs). You assess and approve changes related to the applicable processes and projects.
**Qualifications**:
- Education: Bachelor/Master degree;
- Knowledge of EU GMP/GDP guidelines is preferred. You need a minimum of 3 years’ experience in companies such as manufacturers, distributors or pharmaceutical products;
- Good (English, verbal and writing) communications skills to motivate and support internal/external customers is needed. You are also analytical, flexible and have people management skills;
- As QA Supervisor you need to be able to prioritize decisions which may have a significant risk for the company, and recommend training opportunities.
- Flexible in working hours.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of electronic Quality Management System and/or Warehouse Management System (WMS, GWS etc.) is an advantage.
