Wij zijn op zoek naar een ambitieuze persoon met leidinggevende ervaring of iemand die klaar is om de stap naar een leidinggevende functie te maken.*JOUW ROL*- Als Supervisor Ocean Import geef je leiding aan het Ocean Import team in Rotterdam-Hoogvliet. Geen dag is hetzelfde In deze rol staat het onderhouden van klantrelaties en het coachen van je team centraal. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het monitoren van de productiviteit en de prestaties van het team. Daarnaast onderhoud je contact met verschillende stakeholders (zowel intern als extern) en stimuleer je de persoonlijke ontwikkeling van je medewerkers.- In deze dynamische functie ben jij, samen met je team, het aanspreekpunt voor onze klant. Je motiveert het team op een positieve manier en draagt bij aan een prettige werksfeer.Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden zijn:
- Het verdelen van werkzaamheden op basis van het rooster;
- Coachen en begeleiden van medewerkers, inclusief het geven van instructies en aanwijzingen;
- Toezien op de dagelijkse werkzaamheden en oplossen van niet-routinematige problemen;
- Signaleren en oplossen van verstoringen in het transportproces;
- Ontvangen en bewaken van klachtenafhandeling;
- Controleren, invoeren en actueel houden van klant
- en financiële gegevens in een geautomatiseerd systeem;- Signaleren van afwijkingen in kosten en opbrengsten per dossier, en dit rapporteren aan je leidinggevende;
- Doen van (verbeter)voorstellen aan de leidinggevende;
- Deelnemen aan projecten die gericht zijn op het verbeteren van bestaande processen.

*WAAR BEN JE WERKZAAM?*- Je maakt deel uit van het lokale Operations Management Team van Ocean Freight. Dit team bestaat uit meerdere leidinggevenden van verschillende disciplines, die gezamenlijk werken aan het leveren van een optimaal product voor onze klanten. Samen streef je ernaar om de kwaliteit van de site én de klantbeleving te verhogen.Je rapporteert direct aan de Head of Ocean Nederland. Jouw standplaats is Hoogvliet, van waaruit we Ocean Freight en Supply Chain Management verzorgen voor klanten en CEVA-kantoren wereldwijd. De locatie is goed bereikbaar met de auto (er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid) en het openbaar vervoer.- In de rol van Supervisor Ocean Import heb je volop mogelijkheden om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen.*WIE ZOEKEN WIJ?*- Als Supervisor Ocean Import heb je een passie voor mensen en processen. Je bent een toegankelijke leidinggevende die makkelijk samenwerkt met andere afdelingen en beslissingen durft te nemen. Je bent energiek en weet jouw team op een positieve manier mee te nemen in de doelstellingen. Jij kunt situaties goed inschatten en past je leiderschapsstijl hierop aan. Je maakt deel uit van het team, maar weet ook wanneer je de leiding moet pakken. In drukke tijden kun je goed schakelen en prioriteiten stellen.Verder vragen wij:
- HBO werk of denkniveau en een opleiding bij voorkeur in de richting van logistiek of commercie;
- Leidinggevende ervaring is een pré;
- Gevorderde kennis van MS Office;
- Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
