Maintenance Manager

Our plant Henri van de Bilt in Beuningen is looking for a** Maintenance Manager.**

**Your responsibilities**:

- Responsible for ensuring production safety and the proper functioning of the machines and equipment in the factory. You are responsible for the continuous improvement of the technical facilities with regard to functionality, safety and costs.
- Ensuring production safety and the proper functioning of the plant's machinery and equipment through the targeted and optimised use of resources (personnel and materials);
- Developing concepts and implementing measures for the continuous improvement of machines and technical equipment on the basis of weak-point analyses and within the given budget in coordination with plant management and production management;
- Responsibility for and coordination of proper execution of maintenance work, including administration and guarantee of all obligations from existing service and maintenance contracts;
- Assessment, optimisation and monitoring of maintenance requirements and maintenance intervals for the various production areas and machines;
- Analysis and evaluation of downtimes and derivation of suitable needs for action in cooperation with production management;
- Introducing, ensuring and optimising "troubleshooting" measures for competent and effective support of production and all other departments;
- Ensuring the smooth running of technical processes by timely ordering of required spare parts within the given budget while optimising our spare parts stock;
- Initiate, plan and lead local projects for the procurement and further development of equipment in cooperation with Group Operations;
- Lead external suppliers for maintenance work and for the construction of new plants;
- Preparing the budget for maintenance operations and monitoring compliance;
- Ensure compliance with and adherence to all occupational safety, hygiene, environmental and other applicable regulations and guidelines;
- Responsibility for the implementation of sufficient and proper documentation of all mechanical and technical equipment;
- Leading and developing subordinate employees, in particular through professional interaction and communication;
- Supporting the filling of vacant positions and the selection of new employees;
- Work safety responsible (fire protection etc);
- Member of the HACCP team.

**What we expect from you**:

- Completed technical education at HBO level (HBO work and thinking skills);
- Alternatively degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical/electrical engineering/industrial engineering) or completed vocational training with appropriate further training (e.g. electrical engineer) or comparable qualifications;
- You have several years of professional experience in technical maintenance for a manufacturing company, preferably in the food industry in multi-shift operation and as a manager;
- Ability of planning and organising;
- Quality conscious;
- Solution oriented & flexible;
- Valid working permit.
