**Who we are**

Apollo Tyres is a tire manufacturer of Indian origin. Apollo is an ambitious and growing company with factories in India and Europe, as well as sales offices around the world. About 160 employees work at Global R&D in Enschede to develop new (car) tires for Apollo and Vredestein.

You will be part of the Test Method Development team in the Testing department. We develop new and improve existing test methods to gain more knowledge, get more information out of existing tests and further improve reliability and lead time. Next to that we actively participate in the development of legal test methods on global scale.

**Objective or the assignment**

You will be working with a test trailer, which can be used for the measurement of grip on dry and wet surfaces. We see some opportunities for improvement and you will be investigating those. Final goal will be a proposal on if these opportunities can be implemented and how.

**Your tasks**
- Investigation on the braking system of the test trailer
- Investigation on a temperature measurement option on the test trailer
- Support in daily activities within the department.

**Your profile**
- Desired educational level is Bcs in mechanical or automotive engineering.
- You have strong communication skills in English.
- You are well known with Matlab software or equivalent.
- Your competences are: creative, innovative, initiative and precise.
- You like working in a team and have a hands-on mentality.
