**Job Mission**:
The mission of the Associate Supervisor is to drive operational excellence within our warehouse team, ensuring efficient, high-quality service for our customers. Located at our Venlo site, the Associate Supervisor will manage a team of 20 to 25 people, optimizing performance and supporting ongoing improvements.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations to meet productivity and service level goals.
- Promote employee engagement and professional growth through performance reviews and targeted development.
- Continuously enhance processes to meet objectives in customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, efficiency, and budget adherence.
- Maintain high standards for Fill Rate (on-time and in-full delivery) as well as inventory accuracy and productivity.
- Own and drive key KPIs for the area, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with the Operations Manager to adjust the warehouse setup and equipment in response to business growth and changing needs.
- Foster a culture of improvement by promoting the LEAD, Engage, and LEAN principles within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree or MBO+ level in logistics or a related field; a post-graduate qualification in Warehousing or Logistics is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in a team leadership position within warehousing.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, including setup, capacity planning, and optimization.
- Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems, ideally Oracle.
- Experience in ISO13485:2003 or a comparable environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of export requirements is beneficial.
- Proven ability to build and guide an effective team with a hands-on, service-oriented approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a structured and meticulous work style.
