As a** Tax Manager**, your role is to oversee and manage all tax-related functions for the company. This includes tax strategy and planning, tax reporting and compliance activities to ensure global tax compliance for all Bugaboo entities, with the support of the Finance team and external advisors. This makes the role highly diverse.
**What will you do**
- Accountable for Tax Compliance and reporting; ensure the company complies with all national and international tax regulations.
- Responsible for Tax Accounting; prepare the income tax position, including deferred tax positions, as input for the various tax returns and financial statements.
- Responsible for managing the relationship with the tax authorities and liaising of several tax related topics (filings, horizontal monitoring etc).
- Coordinate with tax advisors to discuss and agree on the approach to (new) tax legislation and provide guidance on ensuring compliance.
- Advise and report on all tax-related matters to the CFO and Global Finance Director.
- Oversee the implementation, adherence, and reporting of the tax compliance framework and coordinating financial support on tax matters in collaboration with internal (ao Finance and Legal teams) and external stakeholders.
- Understand & advice on potential tax consequences of changes in the commercial and/or operations area.
- Provide support to the M&A Director on acquisition scoping and due diligence projects.
**What you will bring to the table**
- Educational background in fiscal economics/fiscal law.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in tax management, preferably with exposure to multinational corporations.
- Strong knowledge of international tax laws, transfer pricing, and VAT/GST regulations.
- Solid understanding of tax accounting and the link between tax
- and financial accounting.
- Hands-on mentality and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior leadership.
- Proficient in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
