
Account Technology Strategist

As an **Account Technology Strategist**, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our customers through their digital transformation and AI journey. Your focus is to develop and support in executing the technology roadmap that advances the customer's strategic business goals. You will closely align with various stakeholders, including the Account Executive, the Solution Specialists, the Technial team and the Partners to bring a cohesive approach in supporting the customer's needs. A strong technical background together with business accumen is critical for success in this role.**Responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Strategic Leadership**: Act as a "virtual Chief Technical Officer," providing thought leadership and leveraging deep knowledge of Microsoft's solutions, industry trends, and customer needs. Be the voice of the customer (VOC), industry, and team.
- ** Technology Strategy**: Lead the formulation of technology strategies by aligning customer needs with technology solutions, executing digital transformation initiatives, creating mid
- to long-term technical roadmaps, and translating customer business objectives into actionable plans.
- ** Opportunity Development**: Develop and drive opportunities, present them to customers, and create demand. Coach peers on opportunity initiation and mapping Microsoft priorities to opportunities.
- ** Digital Transformation**: Lead digital transformation efforts using corporate and cross-industry resources. Partner with line-of-business leaders or senior executives to articulate the benefits of Microsoft technology over competitor solutions. Assist customer technical specialists in selling Microsoft offerings.
- ** Customer Engagement**: Map technical customer requirements and business scenarios to Microsoft technology platforms. Orchestrate necessary teams and partners to ensure demand generation and establish best practices for account planning.
- ** Thought Leadership**: Deliver regular industry and technology briefings to customer technology senior decision-makers and technical teams. Utilize readiness resources and demonstrate expertise in creating enablement plans.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business
- OR related field AND 12+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building,
- OR related technical/sales experience
- OR equivalent experience
- 6+ years experience in relevant customer industry
- 6+ years experience in digital transformation, or using technology to drive customer business outcomes
